Group Therapy

Group therapy is a powerful way to overcome isolation and build meaningful connections. In a safe and supportive setting, members share experiences, gain insight, improve communication, and practice coping skills with the guidance of a therapist. Whether you’re seeking support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or personal growth, group therapy provides a space for healing, connection, and lasting change. Our groups are offered in-person in Santa Monica, CA and online throughout California.

How does Group Therapy work?

In group therapy, members participate in guided discussions that focus on connection, communication, and emotional regulation. Together, participates explore relational patterns, practice new coping strategies, and receive support and feedback from both the therapist and fellow members. The growth and connection that happens inside the group often translate into healthier, more fulfilling relationships outside of therapy.

Group Therapy can help:

  • Decrease feelings of isolation and loneliness

  • Improve social and communication skills

  • Increase ability to express and regulate emotions

  • Develop new coping skills for stress and life challenges

  • Boost confidence and resilience

  • Gain perspective and self-awareness

  • Normalize issues and emotions

  • Strengthen relationships in and outside of the group

  • Build supportive connections with others

Group therapy provides an opportunity to grow both individually and relationally. By engaging in this collaborative process, members not only support each other within the group but also strengthen their ability to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships in their daily lives.
